EXPECTED ENTRY DATE IN THE CITY OF GRANADA, AFTER THE APPROVAL OF THE NEW INTEGRAL MOBILITY ORDINANCE AND THE LOW EMISSION ZONES (LEMZ) PROJECT.
Law 7/2021, of May 20, on climate change and energy transition better known as the Climate Change Law, is a law passed in Spain in May 2021that aims to ensure this nation's compliance with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
The city of Granada will be perimetered and will cover an area of 23.55 km2 and bounded by the following roads:
NORTH ZONE:
From Av. de Juan Pablo II.
Exit 7 - Granada, Almanjayar, Maracena, Bus Station from GR30
SOUTH ZONE:
From Av. de la Innovación.
Departure 16 - Campus de la Salud, Palacio de Congresos, Armilla from GR30
EAST ZONE:
From Sacromonte road and Fargue road.
WEST ZONE:
From Bailén - Motril road.
Exit 11 - Avd. de la Constitución, Chana
In the city of Granada access will be allowed or circulate in the ZBE zones if the following points are met:
- Those vehicles that are registered in the municipality of Granada, regardless of their environmental label.
- Any vehicle that has a B, C, ECO or Zero badge will also be able to access the ZBE regardless of where it files its road tax.
In the city of Granada access will not be allowed or circulate in the ZBE zones if the following points are not fulfilled:
- Those vehicles that are not included in the Motor Vehicle Tax Database and that do not have an environmental sticker.
- Vehicles without environmental badge.
- Gasoline vehicles prior to 2001.
- Diesel vehicles prior to 2006.
The environmental badges can be purchased at any post office, and must be placed in the lower right corner of the windshield.
